I promised I would share the complete process of applying for the HSBC Premier Credit Card, and in this video I walk you through exactly how I did it. Once the HSBC Premier account is open, all you have to do is get your next salary credited to that account, then reach out to your relationship manager and ask them to start the credit card application process. In my case the RM completed the entire process, sent me a document to sign, and once the signature was done, the application was logged with HSBC. I received the card in approximately 10 to 15 working days — they do thorough verification, including your employer background, so it does take some time. I also did my first transaction on the very same day I received the card and got the 20,000 welcome points credited immediately.
